After a summer anchored to a tiki bar along the Arkansas River in Colorado, I felt the road calling me again. I packed up my self-converted school bus and pointed it south toward New Mexico, craving warmth and the freedom of movement. When I arrived in Santa Fe, a visit to Meow Wolf—a labyrinthine art installation pulsing with light, sound, and texture—changed everything. Each room seemed alive, vibrating with energies that played with perception, twisting the way I felt and thought.
That experience sparked a question in me: How do we truly see and feel the world around us? This became the heartbeat of my latest collection. I started by exploring the human body as our vessel of perception, grounding us in physical reality. As I progressed, my focus shifted inward, toward the spiritual currents flowing beneath the surface of existence.
I chose acrylic and spray paint, mixing neon hues with stark black and white. The neon represented spiritual energy, the unseen forces that connect us, while black and white embodied the raw dichotomy of life. Layering tape gave dimension, blending the physical with the spiritual, as if merging two realms on the canvas. With each piece, I aimed to leave viewers questioning the fabric of reality, pushing them to look deeper—not just at the art, but at life itself.

I believe art is a scaffolding for the viewer to project there personal human experience onto. So as an artist my goal is to create art that reflects the human experience.
